OUR FEATURED FAMILY OF THE MONTH
THE PARKER FAMILY
Mark and Tracie live in Boyce. Mark is a Lieutenant in Narcotics at RPSO. He learned about LOCC from his wife Tracie. His hobbies include baiting Tracie’s hook when they go fishing. Mark has been attending LOCC since 2015. What Mark likes most about LOCC is that Ken preaches verse by verse from the Bible. He has learned more than he ever has about the Bible since he started coming to LOCC.
Tracie is an Echo Tech at RRMC in the Cardiology Department. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends and making things on her Cricut machine. Tracie learned about LOCC from her son, Chance, when he was in high school with Mitchell Sanders. She has been attending LOCC since 2014. There is so much that Tracie likes about LOCC. She loves Pastor Ken, whom she calls “the Most Holy One,” and his beautiful wife, Mrs. Kathy. She also loves the way the members come together when someone needs assistance. Like Mark, she also loves how Ken goes verse by verse through the Bible. Tracie says it is a very family-oriented church and everyone is always so friendly and happy to see you when you walk in the door. Tracie says she loves everyone at LOCC and prays for the church nightly.
Chance has been working for RPSO for 3 years now. His hobbies include fishing, hanging out with friends and family. He has recently ordered Ancestry.com and has enjoyed learning about his ancestry.
Austin is in school at LSUA. He is in his first year of clinicals to be an RN. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, hanging out with family and friends, and BBQ with his Uncle Sam and friends.
